Roman Cholij  

Dr. Roman Cholij, proprietor of Cam Trade Marks & IP Services, is a registered UK and European Trade Mark and Design Attorney. He has a background in medical sciences, humanities, law, business, and Intellectual Property (IP) management. He trained in private practice following a period in business as a commercial IP manager and subsequent to taking a Masters degree and Certificate in IP management and IP law from Queen Mary College, University of London. Roman is multi-lingual, has two doctorates, one being from the University of Oxford, the other from Rome, was a former college lecturer, and is the author of numerous publications. He lectures and gives presentations on intellectual property and trade marks to attorneys, lawyers and business people and writes frequently for professional trade mark journals as well as business magazines. In 2010 he gave a work shop at Cranfield University and was a speaker at international conferences in Boston (INTA) and Budapest (pan-European conference of the Licensing Executives Society - LES). He is a full Ordinary Member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA) and a contributor to the ITMA Review, associate member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and member of the INTA publications committee, co-chair of the brands committee of LES Britain and Ireland, and authorised IP trainer for LES International. He is in addition authorised to practise as a trade mark attorney before, among others, the UK Intellectual Property Office, the Irish Patent Office, the European Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) and the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) in Geneva.

Valentina Sergeyeva  

Valentina Sergeyeva, partner and head of the Eastern European office of Strahlberg & Partners, is a registered Latvian and European Trade Mark and Design Attorney and a registered Latvian and European Patent Attorney. Multi-lingual, and originally trained as an engineer and computer scientist in Riga and Moscow, she has more than 25 years of experience of patent and intellectual property consultancy and protection, her professional experience having included working at the Institute for Telecommunications Science & Research in Riga as a patent engineer, at the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and at a well known Latvian perfumery and cosmetics company as head of the patents and trade marks department. She is a member of several professional associations including AIPPI, ECTA and FICPI, and is a former member of the CTM Committee of INTA.

Christi Mitchell  

Christi Mitchell, IP Director of Highbury Ltd., has a scientific background in human genetics and molecular biology, and has, in addition, marketing and business degrees. She is a Past President and current Board Member of the Licensing Executive Society (LES) Britain and Ireland, and International Vice Chairman of Education and past Chairman of Life Sciences for LES International. She has over 25 years of licensing experience internationally, and biotechnology, healthcare start up and university spin-out company experience in several jurisdictions world-wide. Christi is also a consultant to the European Commission and is on the Certified Licensing Practitioner Board of LESI.

Anne Wight, BD Director of Highbury Pacific Ltd., has degrees in both law and the arts, as well as post graduate business qualifications and an MBA. With an established business development career and based in New Zealand, she specialises among other things, in bringing IP awareness to high-tech New Zealand companies and assessing the value of research in its potential to be taken to market.
